Who I work with
I am an autistic counsellor who has experience with multiple charities, working with the LGBT+
community and chronic pain conditions. There can be an overlap with neurodiversity and I have had
experience with a variety of ND clients. I offer sessions online only and I'm based in the UK
About Me and How I Work
I am a person-centred counsellor, however I cater to the individual in the sessions. This may mean that
there is more of an integrative approach, but the client is always the one with the power. You know
yourself better than anyone else. These sessions depend on what a client wants to get out of the
counselling, whether it is more structured and collaborative, if the client wants more support, or more
open if the client wants a sounding board, someone who will listen to them when others can't. I don't
offer a specific amount of sessions. The individual knows when they feel they would like to end their
counselling sessions.
Qualifications & Professional Background
I have a level 5 diploma in therapeutic counselling, which is heavily based in person-centred counselling.
I have experience in GSDR training from volunteering in a LGBTQ+ charity and CRPS training from
working in a chronic pain charity. I have EDI, safeguarding and all other relevant training, and have
completed a course on online and telephone counselling.
I am accredited with the NCPS and have insurance.
