Sara-Louise Ackrill

She/Her

Online with some in person in West London (Baker Street)

I am a talking therapist, offering full 60-min sessions online and sometimes in person in West London. My approach is best described as 'partnership working'. I combine psychoeducation, self advocacy, self compassion. Communication skills. Designing social skills that are meaningful to the client. A lot of people want to work on workplace challenges and relationships. Executive Function. It's a space to process emotionally but I also challenge clients to reframe things and to be their own PR person and lose the internalised ableism. I co-authored a book on ND women and relationships so I am working in this area more and more too (The ND Lovers Club: How Neurodivergent Women Lust, Like and Love).

Who I work with

My clients are professionals, entrepreneurs and students and they come from LinkedIN/ social media, corporate, word of mouth referral and the entrepreneurship space. Often my clients are from pharma, tech, consulting, advertising and legal and financial services. Many are late diagnosed autistic/ ADHD/ AuDHD. Some are 16-18 years old and planning their future independence.

Clients often have employment challenges, mental health issues, problems with close relationships, an inability to sustain themselves financially and debt, living with the consequences of immature parenting, burn out, imposter syndrome, questions about self disclosure. OCD. Perimenopause. Menopause. Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria / RSD.
