Who I work with
I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients. As someone who is both gay and autistic, I bring lived experience as well as clinical training to this work, and offer an affirming and non-pathologising space.
I work well with clients navigating anxiety, identity, burnout, relationship patterns, and questions of meaning. Whether you're facing a crisis or simply feeling stuck, therapy can offer a space to reflect, recalibrate, and reconnect with what matters to you.
About Me and How I Work
I’m an experienced psychotherapist with more than 16 years experience. I’ve worked in the NHS and private practice, and offer a warm, relational and affirming space for clients navigating a range of issues.
While many people begin therapy to manage symptoms, I support clients in going deeper – exploring attachment patterns, family dynamics, and self-critical thinking. I trained as an existential therapist, but today my approach is integrative, drawing on attachment theory, neuroscience, mindfulness, and neuroaffirmative therapy.
I am also interested in walk and talk therapy which can work really well for neurodivergent clients who can find traditional therapy setting challenging. The less formal, side by side nature of walking therapy can ease the intensity of eye contact reduce sensory pressure, and help with focus and regulation.
Qualifications & Professional Background
I trained at the New School of Psychotherapy & Counselling, the UKCP's leading Existential training institute. Existential therapy offers an alternative to today's medicalised approach to mental health and helps us to find our own meaning in life. I have an M.A. in Existential Psychotherapy & Counselling from the University of Sheffield and I am a member of both the Society of Existential Analysis and the UKCP and abide by their ethical policies. My training placements were in the NHS working in doctors surgeries in the London boroughs of Lambeth and Croydon and today I run a busy private practice in Central London.
