She/Her

Online Only

I firmly believe the social context and injustice have an impact on how we navigate society and relationships. In turn, our mental health can suffer and this needs to be considered in therapy. I now strive to offer a space for us to explore what has been challenging for you and how to better navigate those situations, taking the social context into account. Counselling aims to provide a safe space for you to heal from painful experiences, to liberate yourself from what is deeply worrying you. This space will support you in gaining confidence, peace, and the knowledge to help you navigate harmful situations. Much of this work rests on the quality of the relationship with the therapist. Every relationship is unique so I will strive to collaborate with you authentically to create a space that responds to your needs. As a migrant and autistic person myself, I have benefitted from this kind of liberating work, and can offer a different perspective from what you may find out there.

Who I work with

I have experience in working with migrants, people with mixed heritage, neurodivergent people, especially late-diagnosed autistic people, people belonging to marginalised communities or leading non-normative lives such as polyamorous or ethically non-monogamous lifestyles.

Together with my clients we find supportive ways to address issues like burnout, anxiety, depression, appropriate relationship boundaries, anger and grief.

I offer weekly or fortnightly online sessions, in English, Spanish or French.

Qualifications & Professional Background

I am a UKCP registered therapist with more than 5 years experience in accompanying people 1 to 1 and facilitating groups. I hold an MSc in Humanistic Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute in London. In addition, I have trained as a Sophrology and Relaxation Practitioner. I believe integrating thoughts, emotions and the body can facilitate well-being and healing.

I am also currently undertaking research as a PhD student in Psychosocial studies at the Birkbeck University of London.

I work in a trauma-informed way, integrating modalities such as psychodynamic, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Person-centred approach.

In addition, I am committed to learning and professional development. In order to improve my skills and provide a better service, I engage with continuing professional development (CDP) on a regular basis. Some of the most recent trainings I have undertaken are:

Introduction to Gender Identities
Working with Race-based trauma & stress
Living & Working with Neurodivergence
ADHD in the therapy room
