I am an empathetic, respectful and non-judgemental practitioner who aims to tailor my therapeutic approach and work collaboratively with clients to meet their individual needs and preferences for therapy. My practice neuro- and gender-inclusive, and is grounded in person-centred therapy, while drawing from other therapeutic approaches/therapies such as acceptance and commitment therapy, compassion-focused therapy and, cognitive behavioural therapy. My practice is also schema-informed. I am happy to work open-ended or time-limited with clients.

Who I work with

I work online and in person with adults who are neurodivergent or suspect that they may be neurodivergent. In particular, I have an interest in working with adults who have received a late diagnosis and are on the journey of identity exploration, including navigating masking and mental health difficulties like anxiety and low mood, I also work with neurodivergent adults experiencing burnout and/or navigating health-related challenges. I work as an independent Practitioner Psychologist within First Psychology Scotland, offering online sessions within the UK and in-person sessions in Glasgow and Peebles, Scottish Borders.

Qualifications & Professional Background

I am a qualified Practitioner Health Psychologist who is registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).

I have completed a Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology, following a MSc Health Psychology and BSc (hons) Applied Psychology with Specialism in Health. I have received training throughout my professional doctorate in person-centred therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, compassion-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy and an introduction to schema-therapy.

I have valid professional indemnity insurance, meaning I am fully insured as a Practitioner Psychologist to work online and in-person with clients across the UK.
