I am down to earth, genuine and caring. I like to work collaboratively towards goals that are important to you using a range of evidence-based interventions (eg EMDR, ACT, CFT, CBT, IFS-based techniques, MBSR, and MI). I like to have a clear structure and plan and will review and update this as necessary.

Who I work with

I work with adults experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, PTSD and those experiencing emotional difficulties related to neurodivergence, physical health issues and adjustment to life events.

About Me and How I Work

Qualifications & Professional Background

I’ve been working in the field of psychology since 2003. I completed a BSc in Psychology in 2001 and an MSc in Forensic Psychology in 2003. I finished my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2010 and worked in the NHS until 2024. I now work full-time in private practice and work mainly with late-diagnosed autistic adults.

I am fully insured and registered with the HCPC. I am a member of EMDR UK and will hopefully be a fully accredited EMDR practitioner by the end of May ‘25. I have completed several additional training courses in adapting therapy for neurodivergent clients.
