He/They

You can join sessions online from home, or in Brighton for walk & talk or in a practice room.

I am integratively trained meaning that I draw on knowledge from numerous psychotherapeutic modalities, however I work with a person-centred approach; I focus on developing our therapeutic relationship, affirming your lived experience, and take an empowering and affirming stance. My core training was psycho-spiritual, which means I practise in a way informed not just by psychology but also with an awareness of different spiritual paths and experiences of faith. I work mostly within a Western context, however also have an appreciation for Other ways of knowing including indigenous cosmologies, Eastern philosophies and intercultural dialogue. I am also a Mindfulness consultant, having trained with Zen Buddhists, and am also trained in African-oriented therapy approaches, and have an interest in Animist Psychology. Before I became a counsellor, I worked as a massage therapist, and I volunteered and travelled internationally, and led personal development and communication workshops.

Who I work with

I work with people who need support to explore issues concerning autism, ADHD, anxiety, burnout, work, money, sex and relationships, trauma, health conditions, culture and/or spirituality/life philosophy.

Every year I complete numerous trainings in areas ranging from Narrative and Creative Therapies to Somatic and Body-oriented therapies, for a holistic and well-rounded knowledge.
