She/Her

Online and in person UK

You may be functioning on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or deeply self-critical inside. Many of the people I work with are autistic (diagnosed or self-identified), and/or have lived with developmental or relational trauma. They often describe feeling stuck in survival mode, burnout, shame, or emotional disconnection. I offer person-centred, trauma-informed therapy for neurodivergent adults in Macclesfield, with a strong emphasis on emotional safety, pacing, and relationship. My approach is gentle and collaborative, particularly for clients who have found previous therapy overwhelming, invalidating, or too fast. I have lived experience of neurodivergence. However, I am mindful that my experience may not be the same as yours. I provide a space in which you can explore what your neurodivergence means for you, whether that is being Autistic, having ADHD, or other differences. I am trained in Adaptive Therapy for Autistic Adults (ATAA®). How I work: I’m a person-centred therapist, which means our work is led by you — your experiences, your nervous system, and your sense of what feels manageable. I work in a neurodivergence-affirming way, recognising the impact of masking, sensory overwhelm, burnout, and lifelong feelings of being “different” or “too much”. I’m also trauma-informed, and mindful of how trauma can show up in subtle ways such as dissociation, emotional numbing, people-pleasing, or a harsh inner critic. Therapy with me is paced carefully, with attention to nervous system regulation and repair within the therapeutic relationship if something doesn’t feel right. Depending on your needs, our work may gently explore: Burnout and chronic overwhelm Shame and self-criticism Dissociation or feeling disconnected The impact of childhood or relational trauma Attachment patterns and relationship difficulties Identity, masking, and self-acceptance You don’t need to have the right words, a diagnosis, or a clear goal to begin. We can start exactly where you are.

Who I work with

I work with autistic adults who are exploring their identity after a late diagnosis or who have a self diagnosis. Many of my clients come to therapy to navigate issues like relational trauma, masking, burnout, anxiety, and building authentic relationships. I offer both online sessions and in-person therapy from my garden room in Macclesfield.
