Who I work with
The variety of my work is something that excites me and keeps me passionate. I offer counselling to both adults and young people last year adding formal coaching training to my skills as for alot of my clients their needs could be better met with a truly integrated approach.
I have considerable experience supervising and love supporting new counselors to grow and develop who they are through training and beyond. Especially when counsellors branch out into CYP work.
I am also a link therapist for Barnardos offering attachment focused therapy post adoption to parents.
About Me and How I Work
Being late diagnosed I found it was hard to navigate finding a counsellor whom I could unmask and be myself. As a counsellor and supervisor it is beyond being authentic and creating the best relationship. Adapting ways of working is at the heart of sessions and this evolves over time.
Qualifications & Professional Background
Level 4 diploma in humanistic counselling
Level 6 CYP diploma
Level 6 supervision diploma
MA counselling and Psycothapy (just completing)
