I am a person-centred counsellor who also uses creative approaches such as art, therapeutic cards, sand play, and writing to allow you to express yourself in whichever way you find most comfortable. I am aware that some neurodivergent clients find speaking incredibly difficult, particularly at first, so sessions will go at your pace. I work gently and collaboratively with clients to build trust and an authentic therapeutic relationship, listening to your needs and tailoring sessions to you. I will gently challenge you and offer trauma-informed psychoeducation where required. I am a BACP registered counsellor and have public liability and indemnity insurance.

Who I work with

I specialise in working with Neurodivergent clients who are either diagnosed, self-identified or exploring the possibility of being Autistic, ADHD, etc. I offer a neuro-affirming and LGBT+ safe service, which provides a warm, safe environment for you to explore what is troubling you with an empathic and compassionate companion beside you. I offer both in-person and online sessions from my cosy, private home therapy room in Devizes or a shared location in Trowbridge.

Qualifications & Professional Background

I have a CPCAB L4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, following a Certificate in Counselling Studies. Before this, I completed a BA (hons) in Primary Education at UWE, Bristol and a PG Cert. Psychology at Derby University.
CPD training is extremely important to me, and I have completed the following additional trainings as well as attending conferences regularly:
- Working with Neurodivergent clients
- Creative interventions
- Online & Telephone counselling
- Trauma and Somatisation
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical guidelines. I am insured with Towergate Insurance Services.
