She/Her

Online - Salford, Manchester

I’m a millennial, ADHDer, LGBTQIA+ allied and Disabled counsellor. When I sit opposite you in our session and say I get it - I mean it. I specialise in working with: Women who have been diagnosed with ADHD later in life. This may be a self-diagnosis, on a waiting list or a formal diagnosis. People who have loved ones in prison. This may be a parent, partner or parent of your children. Those living with chronic illness. This could include but is not limited to Hypermobility, Ehlers-Danlos, Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue. Four years ago, I started training to be a counsellor, where I discovered a passion for helping others on their paths of self-discovery and living authentically. Our work together is a space where you can share your emotions, and your truth while working through whatever you’re holding that is no longer serving you. Therapy can be for when you’re struggling or it could be that you want a sounding board to learn more about yourself. As an ADHD specialist counsellor, I'm dedicated to helping late-diagnosed women navigate the complexities of adult ADHD. With empathy and expertise, I provide tailored support and a safe as possible space for you to shed expectations and address the impact of living with ADHD, all while holding space for you to learn more about yourself. I'm committed to creating a safe and supportive space for you to explore your authentic self. For me, this means: I’ll ask about your pronouns, I’ll ask how I can make the space better for you in sessions, I’ll work with you, so that you can get the most out of our work together while being as comfortable as possible (but sometimes therapy is a bit scary). Why Choose Me? - Person-centred approach: You are at the heart of everything we do together. - Specialisation in ADHD: Compassionate and informed support for adults navigating ADHD. - Understanding of ASD and AuDHD: Understanding support for adults with Autism & AuDHD. - Confidential, supportive environment: Your well-being is my top priority. - Lived experience: I operate from a place of understanding and empathy. - Online therapy sessions: Convenient, comfortable and accessible from the comfort of your home. No pressure, I’m a non-biased champion by your side. We will take time to assess your needs during the consultation session, then you can decide if we are right for each other. There’s no expectation you will have ‘6 sessions’, some clients see me once, I have supported others for years. If you’ve had therapy before and feel you need more time per week you can choose between 50-minute or 80-minute weekly sessions, to give you the space you deserve. My offer is open-ended counselling with regular reviews – you’re in control – start because you want to and end when you want to.
