Stacie Fanelli
She/Her
Online and in-person - Rancho Cucamonga, CA
I work with fellow autistic and ADHD adults, especially those who are late-diagnosed, self-identifying, or still sorting through the question. Most of my clients are LGBTQ+, exploring gender and other social identities, and working through masking, burnout, anxiety, or eating disorder recovery. I use parts work (IFS-informed), a disability justice lens, and deep respect for autonomy. I offer telehealth throughout California and Pennsylvania and in-person therapy in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

About Me and How I Work
I'm an autistic therapist who works best with clients who like to ask big questions, collect data on their inner world, and unlearn all the noise about who they’re “supposed” to be. My style is warm, collaborative, down-to-earth, and rooted in curiosity, not behaviorism. I don’t believe therapy should feel like performance. I’m IFS-informed and draw from relational, person-centred, and anti-oppressive approaches. Sessions are structured enough to feel safe, but spacious enough for real discovery.
Qualifications and Professional Experience
I’m a therapist with a Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University and years of experience working in eating disorder treatment all levels of care, where I learned what doesn't work for neurodivergent brains and taught myself how to adapt traditional therapy from the bottom up. I regularly attend continuing education conferences and lectures to keep up with the latest in eating disorder and neurodiversity-affirming care and have received "unofficial" training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Inference Based Therapy (ICBT) for OCD, meaning that while I'm not certified to deliver these types of therapy exactly as their manuals dictate, I can incorporate pieces of them into our work when relevant. I describe my theoretical orientation as Rogerian, as I believe the relationship is the primarily healing tool, and I am non-directive, meaning that while I can provide structure for our exploratory conversations, I don't set an agenda. I’ve been in practice since 2017. I’m fully insured and licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences in California and The State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors in Pennsylvania.
Next Steps
If you're curious about working together, feel free to get in touch to book a free 20-minute consultation to determine whether we'd be a fit. If I believe there's someone better equipped to meet your specific needs, I will pull from my extensive list of vetted referrals to ensure you're not on your own in finding support. I will reply within 2 business days. You can learn more about me and my approach at www.autonomousmindstherapy.com or find me on Instagram @edadhd_therapist. If you'd like to ask any preliminary questions ahead of a consultation, you can email me directly at staciefanelli.msw@gmail.com. Please mention what state you're in, if you'd looking to use insurance, and whether you have limitations on your availability in your inquiry.
You choose your rate within the range of $215-250 based on your knowledge of what's do-able for you, no questions asked. Since I began accepting insurance recently, I am no longer able to offer sliding scale private pay rates under $215. In Pennsylvania, I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey as well as Aetna and Quest Behavioral Health. In California, I am in-network with Carelon and Quest. There is a chance your medical insurance plan carves out mental health benefits through one of these companies, so you may be in network and not even know it - I'm happy to run your insurance benefits to check it out if you're not sure prior to scheduling a consultation.
