Christine MacKenzie
She/Her/Hers
Online/Virtual Services Only. Offering Telehealth Talk Therapy and EMDR in Texas, USA.
I'm passionate about supporting deep feelers and thinkers, helpers and healers, life-long learners, people-pleasers, highly sensitive people, and neurodivergent adults overwhelmed by the intensity of navigating the world in the present while carrying wounds of the past. My practice is centered on supporting women, nonbinary, and LGBTQ+ adults, while welcome to all. Many Autistic/ADHD clients who I support are late-identified/diagnosed, self-identified, and high-masking, learning to explore neurodivergence compassionately and embracing difference.
Areas of Focus:
-Highly Sensitive People (HSP)
-Autistic and ADHD Adults
-Trauma & PTSD
-Grief & Loss
-Support for Helpers & Healers
-Anxiety, Stress, & Life Transitions
-Compassion Fatigue & Burnout Recovery
I offer online/virtual therapy services across the state of Texas.

About Me and How I Work
At the core of all we do together is compassion-based; compassion for suffering, compassion for the highs, lows, and in-betweens, of simply being a human with a differently wired brain. “Compassion is the radicalism of our time" (Dalai Lama), a favorite quote of mine, has stuck with me for years, speaking to both the individual and the conditions of their environment, as both are immensely important in our wellbeing.
My approach is shaped by my own lived experience as an Autistic and Highly Sensitive Person, combined with clinical expertise and experience. I’m deeply passionate about the work I do and committed to life-long growth, education, curiosity, and self-reflection.
I tailor our work together to match your needs by drawing from multiple evidence-based approaches, which may include:
-Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy
-Compassion-Focused Therapy
-Self-Compassion and Mindfulness
-Person-Centered Therapy
-Strengths-Based Therapy
-Elements of CBT, ACT, DBT Skills, Adapted for Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice
-Neurodiversity-Affirming, Trauma-Sensitive, LGBTQ+ Friendly
