About Me and How I Work

I take a wellness-oriented approach to therapy, focusing not just on solving problems, but helping my clients embrace their true, authentic selves. I work from a person-centered, trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, HAES-informed, kink & poly affirming, and anti-racist standpoint. My style of therapy combines skills-based interventions with deep, genuine emotional exploration. I strive to create a collaborative space with trust as the foundation of the therapeutic relationship. I generally use an integrative approach with clients, pulling from modalities such as ACT, CBT, and narrative therapy.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

As of 2025, I've been a licensed therapist for 3 years and have provided over 2,000 hours of direct client care. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina, license #A17663.

I am trained in both Exposure and Response Prevention and Inference-Based CBT for OCD treatment, letting my clients choose which approach they want to take.
