I provide clinical supervision for all autistic, ADHD and AuDHD counsellors and psychotherapists, who would like a safe, supportive, encouraging and affirming space to explore their practice without concerns around judgement or 'subscript'.

Many of the neurodivergent therapists I supervise are working with me regarding challenges such as burnout, compassion fatigue, imposter syndrome, or concerns around how to navigate transparency within practice whilst also ensuring therapeutic boundaries are maintained, alongside bringing their client work for exploration and support.

I offer online supervision, as well as in-person sessions in Wootton Bridge on the Isle of Wight.

I am additionally able to offer email supervision, and/or recordings of verbal content with transcripts.

About Me and How I Work

I am an AuDHD supervisor who provides highly collaborative, affirming supervision for fellow neurodivergent counsellors and psychotherapists.

I bring warmth, humour, compassion and lived experience to my role, and am careful to create a space where all supervisees feel empowered to reflect honestly, openly and confidently without fear of judgement or unfounded criticism.

I am a Psychodynamically trained, UKCP Clinical Psychotherapist, and, as a couples therapist and trauma therapist also work with several additional therapeutic approaches including Systemic, EMDR, ACT, CBT and Mindful Meditation. As a Clinical Supervisor, I am Integratively trained and draw on a range of theoretical modalities when providing supervision. Throughout, my practice is grounded in anti-oppressive values.

Professional Experience and Qualifications

I am currently amidst my PhD, which is concerned with eco-psychotherapy and the psychodynamic model of psychotherapy. My overarching aim from this is to contribute to the continued development of psychodynamic theory, and, within this, the modernisation of this mode of therapy.

In addition, I hold a Masters in Psychotherapy, Post Graduate Certificate in Systemic Therapy, Post Graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapeutic Counselling, Post Graduate Diploma in Mindful Meditation and Relaxation, all levels of EMDR Certification, Level 2 in ACT, all levels in CISM Practitioner training and many short CPD courses that add therapeutic skills and knowledge to my overarching skillset, especially as a Trauma Therapist.

As a Supervisor and Lecturer, I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Supervision (Individual and Group), a L3 teaching qualification and NVQ qualifications in assessing candidates, their work and their skills. As a supervisor, I draw on both my professional training and personal, lived, experience to provide support and guidance for supervisees.

My original training was as a Registered Nurse, where I spent 25 years working across NHS mental health and learning disability services as well as in general healthcare; social work, which added a richness to my toolbox with regards to understanding safeguarding and risk and an undergraduate BA(Hons) degree.
